Spyzen Private Limited is a proprietary trading firm incorporated in Odisha in 2025. We trade our own capital across Indian equities, derivatives, and commodities, operating on the NSE, BSE, and MCX.
We are not an asset manager. We are not an advisory firm. We do not solicit, accept, or manage public funds, and we do not provide investment recommendations to outside investors. Every position we take is our own.
This is a deliberate choice. It keeps our incentives clean, our decision-making fast, and our focus singular: making the firm’s capital work harder than it did the day before.
Our Approach
Systems set the floor. Strategy sets the ceiling.
Markets reward discipline far more often than they reward prediction. Most participants lose money not because they read the news wrong, but because they react to it inconsistently — sizing trades by mood, exiting positions by emotion, abandoning rules the moment a rule becomes inconvenient.
We built Spyzen to do the opposite. Our systems define how we enter, how we size, how we exit, and how we handle drawdowns. They are written down. They are followed. They are revised on evidence, not on impulse.
Strategy is where we earn our edge. We study market structure, flow, volatility regimes, and the second-order effects that move Indian markets. The system enforces discipline. The strategy decides which opportunities are worth pursuing.
What We Trade
Three asset classes. One framework.
We operate across three correlated but distinct markets in India. The same risk framework governs all three; the strategies adapt to each.
Equities
Cash and futures across NSE and BSE. Large-cap and mid-cap focus, with selective participation in sectoral themes.
Derivatives
Index and stock options, futures, and structured combinations. We trade volatility as an asset class, not only as a directional bet.
Commodities
MCX trading in precious metals, base metals, and energy. Macro-driven positioning with strict event-risk management.
How We Operate
Risk first. Always.
Capital preservation is the precondition for capital growth. Every position carries a defined loss limit before it carries a profit target. We size to survive bad weeks, not to optimise for good ones.
We operate as a private firm with no external capital, no client mandates, and no quarterly reporting pressure. This gives us the freedom to do nothing when there is nothing to do — to sit in cash when markets are unclear, to scale down when conditions deteriorate, to wait for setups that meet our criteria rather than chase setups that do not.
Patience is a position. We treat it as one.
